IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE FOR RAJASTHAN AT JODHPUR
--------------------------------------------------------
CIVIL MISC. APPEAL No. 1430 of 2004
STATE & ANR.
V/S
SEEMA & ORS.
Mr. SHYAM LADRECHA, ADDL.G.A., for the appellant
Date of Order : 18.3.2005
HON'BLE SHRI N P GUPTA,J.
ORDER
-----
Heard learned counsel for the appellant.
The only submission made is that the deceased was a gratuitous passenger in the jeep, and therefore, the appellant is not liable for payment of any compensation. Learned counsel was pointedly asked, to substantiate this submission on legal basis, as to how the appellant is not liable for death of gratuitous passenger in its vehicle, but the learned counsel was not able to satisfy anything.
No other point was argued.
The appeal thus has no force, and is dismissed summarily.
