In this case, the injured claimant has sustained two fractures ; one in hand and another in leg. The bones involved are Radius and femer. A sum of Rs. 20,000/- have been awarded by the tribunal for these two fractures. Two major limbs of the body having been fractured, the man has acquired incapacity. With every change in weather, fractures bother the injured. An amount of Rs. 20,000/- granted is considered to be on the lesser side and the same is enhanced to Rs. 1,00,000/-. Rest of the award is not disturbed. The
Tribunal will pass a fresh award with above modification.
The appeal is disposed of.
