The petitioner has challenged the demand notice in this writ petition. As per standing counsel appearing on behalf of the department the same are appelable under

Sec. 9A of the Rajasthan Excise Act . In view of the above since there is an alternative statutory remedy available to the petitioner this writ petition is dismissed on the ground of the alternative remedy with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the notices if he so desires in appeal under Section 9A as submitted by the learned counsel for the respondent. The writ petition as well as the stay application stand dismissed.
