RAJENDRA KUMAR VERMA v UNION OF INDIA & ORS - CW Case No. 6712 of 2005 RD-RJ 236 (23 February 2006)
S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.6712/05
Rajendra Kumar Verma Vs. U.O.I. & Ors.
Date of Order : 23/02/2006
Hon'ble Mr. Justice Ajay Rastogi
Mr. K.C. Sharma, for petitioner
Counsel for petitioner contends that vide order st dt.1 October, 2004 [Ann.2], his services were dispensed with. Against which, he preferred appeal before the authorities, which was submitted in their office on 1/5/05, but still no final adjudicating has taken place and because of its pendency, he has not been able to avail other remedy available under law. He has also questioned and challenged the validity of order on merits.
Looking to the fact that his appeal is pending, I refrain from examining the merits of the matter and consider it proper to direct the respondents to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner expeditiously, but not later than three months from the date certified copy of this order is served in their office.
With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. [Ajay Rastogi],J.
