The matter is with regard to appointment on the post of PTI Grade-III. The petitioner prayed that the respondents be directed to consider the marks obtained by the petitioner in the Senior Secondary
(Vocational) Examination for the purpose of determination of merit for selection to the post of PTI
Grade-III in pursuance of the advertisement dated 28.07.2003 for Kota District.
The controversy involved in the present case is squarely covered by the judgments rendered by this
Court in the case of Dinesh Chandra Sharma Vs. State of
Rajasthan & Ors., decided on 03.12.2004 and reported in 2005(2) WLC(Raj.) 208 and in the case of Vinod Kumar
Vs. State of Rajasthan & Ors, decided on 08.11.2004 and reported in 2005(1) WLC(Raj.) 533.
Thus, in the light of the ratio decided by this Court in the case of Dinesh Chandra Sharma
(supra), the present writ petition stands allowed and the respondents are directed to consider the marks obtained by the petitioner in Senior Secondary
(Vocational) Examination treating that qualification equivalent to Senior Secondary (Academic) and after considering the marks obtained by the petitioner in
Senior Secondary (Vocational) Examination, if the petitioner comes in the merit and otherwise found suitable, he may be given appointment on the post of
