ROOPI SINDORE v STATE - CW Case No. 2165 of 2007  RD-RJ 1595 (2 April 2007)
IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE FOR RAJASTHAN
AT JAIPUR BENCH
S.B. CIVIL WRIT PETITION NO.2165/07
Roopi Sindore Versus State
DATE OF ORDER :: 02/04/2007
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AJAY RASTOGI
Mr. Manish Bhandari, for petitioner
Instant petition has been filed by petitioner assailing the order of his reversion passed by respondents on 23rd March, 2001.
No explanation of any kind has been furnished in the petition as to why the instant petition has been filed after almost 6 years of passing of order impugned. The only explanation, which petitioner has furnished, is that in identical matters, this court has entertained the writ petition and interim order has also been passed.
In my considered opinion, that cannot be a ground in entertaining the present writ petition after 6 years of passing of the order impugned.
In the absence of any sufficient explanation forthcoming, I do not find any justification to interfere after such a gross delay.
Consequently, the writ petition stands dismissed. [AJAY RASTOGI],J.
