Today, the matters comes up on an application filed on behalf of accused-appellant Pramod Singh wherein it is prayed that his attendance on 17.11.2006 is exempted as he could not appear before this Court on 17.11.2006 due to custody in jail.
In this case, the sentence awarded to the accused appellant was suspended by order of this Court dated 16.10.2006 and he was was directed to appear before this Court on 17.11.2006. However, he did not appear before this Court on 17.11.2006 due to some abovereasons.
For the reasons mentioned in the application for exemption of attendance, the same is allowed. His attendance on 17.11.2006 is exempted.
Today, accused-appellant Pramod Singh is present in person before the Court and he has been identified by his counsel Mr.K.R.Bhati, his attendance is marked before the Deputy Register [Judicial].
Learned counsel for the appellant further states that the surety bonds has been furnished before the trial court on 08.01.2007.
Accordingly, the learned trial court is directed to send the surety bond immediately.
