This petition has been filed by 22 petitioners who are all students of

Ist Year MBBS with the prayer that the respondent University may be directed to provide a special remanded chance to them to save their Ist Year and the seniority or else the ultimate award of degree to them would be delayed by one year.

The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the respondents on their own have provided one special chance to the senior students of IIIrd Year Professions, MBBS Part II in the month of January, 2007.

Shri R.A. Katta, the learned counsel for the respondent University submitted that the students of that batch had represented to the respondent

University expressing the apprehension that if they were not provided one chance their internship would be delayed by one year which eventually would have prejudiced their right to appear in examination of Pre. P.G. He submitted that under the Rules only four chances are permitted and petitioners can raise their grievance by making a suitable representation to the Vice Chancellor of

Rajasthan University of Medical Sciences detailing out their difficulties which they might face if they are not given a special chance in the MBBS Part II

Examination which is scheduled to be commenced from 1.7.2007. Thus writ petition is accordingly disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make a representation to the Vice Chancellor.

If any such representation is made, it is expected that the same shall be considered and decided within 10 days thereafter.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
