The petitioner was convicted by Additional Munsif and
Judicial Magistrate, Barmer by judgment dated 7.5.1992 under Rule 3/6 of The Passport (Entry into India) Rules, 1950 and was released under Section 4 of the Probation of Offenders Act on probation of good conduct and for keeping peace and good behaviour for a period of one year on furnishing a personal bond and a surety bond in the sum of Rs.1,000/- each . The petitioner filed an appeal. Additional
Sessions Judge, Barmer by judgment dated 10.9.1993 dismissed the appeal and maintained the judgment of Additional Munsif and
Judicial Magistrate,Barmer. Aggrieved by this, the petitioner has filed this revision petition.
Learned counsel for the petitioner admits that cost of proceedings of Rs.100/- has been deposited by the petitioner and the petitioner has furnished a personal bond and a surety bond for keeping peace and good behaviour for a period of one year as directed by the trial court. He also admits that the period of probation is over long back.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, I am of the opinion that there is no ground for interference.
The revision petition is dismissed accordingly.
