(Judgement of the Court was delivered by P. SATHASIVAM,J.) The above writ appeal is directed against the order of the learned single Judge dated 24.01.2003 made in W.P.M.P.No.60375 of 2002 in W.P.No.40739 of 2002, in and by which the learned Judge dismissed the said miscellaneous petition praying for stay of the impugned proceedings.

2. Heard the learned senior counsel for the appellant as well as respondents.

3. It is not in dispute that while entertaining the above appeal on 12.08.2003, the Division Bench has granted interim stay and the same is in force even now. Taking note of the relief prayed for in the writ petition and also of the fact that the writ petition is of the year 2003, we are of the view that ends of justice would be met by fixing an early date for disposal of the main writ petition. Accordingly, office is directed to post the writ petition for final hearing on 11.06.2007. Interim order granted by the Division Bench on 12.08.2003, shall continue till the disposal of the writ petition. The writ appeal is ordered accordingly. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed. kh
