The parties alongwith counsel are present in the court. The mother of the appellant is also here. There were some talk for settling the matter by mutual negotiation. The respondent is willing to pay adequate maintenance but is not willing to take the appellant back with him. The appellant is weeping and states that she still loves the respondent and would live with him at any condition.
On the joint requests of counsel for the parties list this appeal in the first week of February, 2005. The counsels on the next date may inform the court whether the case is to be argued on merit, or the parties are agreeable for mutual settlement. In case there is any possibility for mutual settlement then the court may give another date for personal appearance of the parties. The counsel for the respondent has stated that in case the appellant has to again appear in the court then the respondent will give to and fro expenses to the appellant as well as someone accompanying her for coming to Allahabad.
