1. The petitioner filed an application for compassionate appointment. This has been rejected on 26/31/7.2002. The petitioner filed an original appliation challenging this order. It has been rejected on 23.8.2003, hence the present writ petition.

2. We have heard counsel for the petitioner. The departmental authority has recorded a finding that family of the petitioner is not  indigent. This  has been upheld by the Tribunal. There is no merit in the writ petition.   It is dismissed.
