Heard Ms. Shubhra Singh Learned counsel for the petitioner, Ms. Suman Sirohi learned standing counsel for the respondents and perused the record.
This writ petition was filed against the suspension order issued in contemplation of the inquiry proceeding. On the filing of the writ petition, the suspension order was stayed vide order dated 7.12.1995. However, since the case was dismissed in default on dated 8.1.2001 and the interim stay order was vacated. The petitioner was again put under suspension as submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner and he is still continued under suspension.
With the consent of the counsels for the parties, this writ petition is being disposed off finally with the direction to the respondents that the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner shall be completed, if already not completed within a maximum period of four months after affording full opportunity of hearing to the petitioner in accordance with law. It is also made clear that the petitioner shall fully cooperate in disciplinary proceedings.
With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed off with no order as to costs.
