1. The property in dispute has been acquired . The notification under section 4 o the Land Acquisition act (the Act) was published on 31.10.2000. Thereafter, the notification under section 6 of the Act was published on 31.1.2002. The petitioner filed an application for exempting the property in dispute. This application has been rejected on 26.8.2003, hence the present writ petition.
2. We have heard counsel for the petitioner and standing counsel and Sri BK Narain, counsel for the respondents. The possession of the land has already been taken from the petitioner. The State government has rejected the application of the petitioner to exempt the land. There is no illegality in the order. The writ petition has no merit. It is accordingly dismissed.
