The licence of the Fair Price Shop of the petitioner has been suspended by order dated 8.6.2005. By the same order, the petitioner was required to submit reply to the show cause notice also. The petitioner claims that he has submitted reply to the said show cause notice, which is pending consideration before the respondent No. 2.
Since the licence of the petitioner has been suspended and more than three months has elapsed, it would be appropriate that the respondent No. 2 - Up Zila Adhikari, Tehsil Sagri, district Azamgarh, shall take a final decision after considering the reply of the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
In case the petitioner dcides to submit any further explanation or evidence in support of his defence, the same may be submitted within a period of two weeks from today.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
