This writ petition has been filed for issuing a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner.
The case of the petitoner is that on the basis of entrance examination conducted by the respondent -University, the petitioner has obtained 266 marks out of 400 and after counseling the petitioner was required to deposit the fee. The petitioner has deposited the fee and has completed all the formalities but the petitioner's name has not been entered in the attendance register and the petitoner is not being shown present in the class. The petitoner several times requested the respondent no.1 to enter the name of the petitoner in the attendance register but no reply to this effect has been given. Regarding grievance of the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation to respondent no.3 but respondent no.3 has not considered the same and has not passed order and inspite of the attending the classes regularly, the attendance of the petitioner is not being recorded.
I have heard the learned counsel for the petitoner and Sri Pankaj Mittal on behalf of the respondents. The present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.3 to consider the claim of the petitoner and pass a detailed and reasoned order according to law preferably within three weeks from the production of a certified copy of this order.
