The assessment order has been passed by the District Magistrate imposing Entertainment Tax on the petitioner. He has already preferred an appeal before the Respondent No. 1 on 15.10.2005 as stated by him in the writ petition.
The present petition has been filed challenging the recovery proceedings pursuant to the existing assessment order.
It will be open to the petitioner to file an application for grant of interim relief before the respondent No. 1. If such an application is filed, the same shall be decided expeditiously in accordance with law preferably within a period of two weeks.
The writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction.
