Heard counsel for the parties and perused the record.
The grievance of the petitioner is that the payment of his salary has been stopped from August 2005.
The Standing Counsel accepts notices on behalf of respondent nos. 1 and 3 while Sri Gautam Chaudhary, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondent no. 2.
Prima-facie a case for ad-interim mandamus is made out.
An ad-interim mandamus is issued to the respondents to pay the salary of the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of submission of a certified copy of this order with 10 per cent compound interest or show cause by filing counter affidavit within the same period. It is further directed that if the aforesaid payment is not made or cause is not shown within the time granted, respondent no. 2 shall personally appear before this Court on the next date of listing.
Rejoinder-affidavit may be filed within three weeks thereafter.
List this case immediately after expiry of the aforesaid period.
