Petitioners, who are working in the Forest Department of State of U.P. on daily wage basis since 1988, seek regularization and other benefits, as have been conferred upon similarly situate employees, granted by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of State of U.P. vs. Putti Lal 2002(2) UPLBEC 1595. Counsel for the petitioner further submits that in view of the U.P. Regularization of Daily Wages Appointments of Group 'D' Post Rules, 2001 the petitioner is also entitled to regularization.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioners to file a representation before the authority concerned within three weeks from today along with certified copy of this order. On such representation being made, authority concerned shall call for the records and shall pass a reasoned speaking order, preferably within six weeks thereafter.
