Shri Satish Chaturvedi has been heard on behalf of respondent no. 6

Petitioner seeks mandatory benefits which according to him have become due subsequent to the death of his father who had retired as Junion Engineer while posted at Hathras Drainage Khand, Aligarh in the Irrigation Department of the State of U.P.  In that regard the petitioner had made a representation dated 7.8.2005 which had gone unattended.  Hence the present writ petition.

Without entering into the merits of the claim set up by the petitioner the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon respondent no. 2 to consider and decide the representation dated 7.8.2005 by means of a reasoned speaking order strictly in accordance with law, preferably within six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is filed.
