Court No. 7
Civil Misc. Writ No. 71535 of 2005
Jitendra Kumar Srivastav ... Petitioners
State of U.P. and others ... Respondents.
Hon'ble Rakesh Tiwari, J
The petitioner retired from service on 31.7.2003. A sumof Rs.25,101/- has not been released as during his service period, recovery proceedings were initiated against him for discrepancies in the stock registers. The petitioner claims that the proceedings were dropped against him and on 17.9.2001, a ''No dues certificate' was also issued in his favour.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that despite repeated representations dated 25.6.2004 and 5.7.2005 moved by the petitioner before respondent nos. 3 and 4, no heed is being paid and he prays that the respondent no. 4 be directed to decide his representation dated 5.7.2005 within some time frame.
Counsel for the respondents has no objection to this prayer.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent no. 4 to decide the representation dated 5.7.2005 of the petitioner by a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. No order as to costs.
