The petitioner has already applied, as alleged on 1.9.2005 in Form-F under Rule 22 (3) of U.P. Motor Vehicle Taxation Rules 1998 before the respondent no. 2.  According to the petitioner the said application is still pending and has not been disposed of.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, we direct that the respondent no. 2 upon receiving certified copy of this order, shall pass appropriate reasoned order on the said application within three weeks of the date on which certified copy of this order is received by him.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
