The main relief claimed in this petition is that the appeal filed by the petitioner before the learned XV Additional District Judge, Meerut, being Appeal No. 202 of 2003, Arvind Kumar Vs. Smt. Kanchan Rijwani against the order passed under Section 21 of the U.P. Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972 is not being decided.

After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner and in view of the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, we direct that the aforesaid Appeal No. 202 of 2003, Arvind Kumar Vs. Smt. Kanchan Rijwani, pending in the Court of XV Additional District Judge, Meerut shall be decided expeditiously preferably within a period of six months from the date a certified copy of the order is placed before the learned Judge.
