Sri W.H. Khan, learned counsel for the respondents pointed out that this matter does not relate to additional security only and covers other issues. Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated with reference to the prayer made in the writ petition that this writ petition may be entertained only to the demand of Additional Security and for no other relief.

A counter affidavit may be filed by Sri W.H. Khan representing respondents within three weeks. List thereafter.
When section 47 of the Act obliges power corporation to install prepayment meter upon such a demand being made by the consumer prima facie it is not open to the power corporation or the Government to override the said statutory provisions by Government Order or Notifications.
It has been urged by the petitioner that he has opted for prepayment meter and upon such option being made no security can be demanded from the petitioner. The respondent corporation has not accepted the option of the petitioner and is demanding additional security.
In the circumstances, it is directed that no additional security will be payable by the petitioner till further orders and if the petitioner continues to pay its bills regularly the power supply of the petitioner will not be disconnected for failure to deposit additional security.
When the writ petition is listed next, the name of Sri S.F.A. Naqvi will also be shown from the respondents side.
