Hon. Sushil Harkauli, J.

Hon. Vikram Nath, J.

Despite granting time no counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents. According to the petitioner the district administration is  forcing the petitioner to surrender his land for the purpose of Qurbani. It is obvious that no one can be forced to surrender his private land for being used for the said purpose without his consent.

List this petition on 20.12.2005, on which date the District Magistrate and the Senior  Superintendent of Police, Moradabad will appear in person along with their affidavit for justifying the use of the land in question for the above purpose or will suggest an alternative site for the same.
