The Indian Oil Corporation issued an advertisement inviting applications for open category for dealership under "Kisan Sewa Kendra (KSK) for distribution of Diesel, Lubricating Oil and Agro-input products.
It is the contention of the petitioner that he was placed at Serial No.1 by the Dealer Selection Board but the letter of intent has not been issued in favour of the petitioner. For the said grievance the petitioner has already filed a number of representations before the Indian Oil Corporation but they have not been decided.
Sri Prakash Padia, learned counsel appearing for the Indian Oil Corporation has submitted that an appropriate order shall be passed on the representations filed by the petitioner expeditiously.
In view of the aforesaid statement, we decline to entertain this petition at this stage and dispose it of with a direction that the petitioner's representations dated 28th November, 2005 and 13th December, 2005, copies of which have been annexed as Annexure Nos. ''9' & ''10' respectively to the petition shall be decided expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of the order is produced by the petitioner before the General Manager, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Indian Oil Bhawan, Kapoorthala, Lucknow.
