Dr. Ajay Pandey And Another v. State Of U.P. And Others - WRIT - C No. 28582 of 2006 [2006] RD-AH 10061 (23 May 2006)
|
Hon'ble Dr. B.S. Chauhan, J.
Hon'ble Dilip Gupta, J.
This writ petition has been filed for a direction upon the Chief Medical Officer, Jaunpur, to register the names of the petitioners as medical practitioners pursuant to the directions issued by this Court in Contempt Petition. From the records, we find that the petitioners have submitted a joint application on 18/4/2006 before the Chief Medical Officer, Jaunpur.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has not been able to satisfy us as to how the joint application for registration is maintainable. He however contends that the petitioners shall now file separate application before the Chief Medical Officer, Jaunpur annexing therein all the relevant documents so as to enable the Chief Medical Officer, Jaunpur to ascertain whether they can be registered pursuant to the directions issued by this Court in the Contempt Petition.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents has stated that in case the petitioners file separate applications along with the relevant document before the Chief Medical Officer, Jaunpur then he shall examine the same and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law.
In view of the aforesaid statement made by the learned Standing Counsel, we dispose of this petition with a direction that in the event the petitioners file separate applications for registration before the Chief Medical Officer, Jaunpur annexing thereof all the relevant documents, degrees and certificates obtained by them for indulging in medical practice, the same shall be considered in accordance with law and appropriate orders shall be passed expeditiously.
