Priyanka Srivastava And Others v. State Of U.P. And Others - WRIT - C No. 27805 of 2006 [2006] RD-AH 10337 (25 May 2006)
|
Hon'ble Bharati Sapru, J.
The petitioners contends that although they have not appeared in the first semester of the course in question, they should be permitted to appear in the second semester as they have completed 90days of study.
Learned counsel for the University has argued that such relief as sought by the petitioner is not possible.
However, the Vice Chancellor of the University has recommended the case of the petitioners for consideration.
In order that precious time is not wasted of the students of the University, if a representation is moved by the students within a period of three days, the University will dispose of the representation of the petitioner within a period of ten days. I may add that the University may make a sympathetic consideration of the fact that the students will loss valuable time and if it is possible, the University may consider holding the examinations for 1st and 2nd Semester, one after the other.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
