Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State.

This petition has been filed by the petitioner Ram Panti for quashing of the first information lodged at case crime no. 320 of 2006 under Sections 498-A and 302-B I.P.C. and ¾ Dowry Prohibition Act, police station Madiyahoon, District Jaunpur.

From the perusal of the F.I.R.  prima facie cognizable offence is made out.

No ground for interference is made out. The petition is accordingly dismissed.  

However, it is provided that in case the petitioner surrenders or is produced before the court concerned within 10 days from today in the aforesaid case and apply for bail, her prayer for bail shall be decided expeditiously in accordance with law.
