This writ petition has been filed raising the grievance that the petitioner belongs to the Scheduled Caste and he needs the certificate urgently but his application which is pending consideration before the respondent nos. 2 and 3 is not being disposed of.

After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, we dispose of this petition requesting respondent no. 3 to pass an appropriate order in accordance with law on the application filed by the petitioner for issuance of the Caste Certificate expeditiously preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of filing a certified copy of the order before him.
