1. Heard counsel for the petitioner and standing counsel for the respondents.
2. According to the petitioner his licence of fair price shop was suspended on 16.1.2006 and thereafter this order was recalled on 8.5.2006 then without giving any opportunity to him it has been cancelled on 31.5.2006. Hence the present writ petition.
3. In the circumstances of the case, the petitioner may file representation before respondent no. 2. In case any such representation is filed, it may be decided by respondent no. 2 by a speaking order, if possible, within three-months from the date of receipt of the representation. The petitioner will file certified copy of this order; other necessary documents and a duly stamped self-addressed envelope along with the representation. Respondent no. 2 after taking decision will communicate the same to the petitioner. Till the representation of the petitioner is decided the order dated 31.5.2006 shall be kept in abeyance.
4. With these observations the writ petition is disposed of.
