                                                       Versus

State of U.P. and others.                                                                 Respondents

Hon'ble Rakesh Tiwari, J.

Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing respondent no.2 to consider the petitioner as candidate for B.T.C. examination.

The case of the petitioner is that she submitted her application form for B.T.C. examination, 2006 along with the requisite bank draft of Rs. 100/- within the stipulated period, which was received in time by respondent no.2, Secretary Pariksha Niyamak Pradhikari, U.P. Allahabad.  The draft of Rs.100/- along with said application form was not accepted due to the fact that instead of in the name of Registrar Vibhagiya  Pariksha U.P. Allahabad payable at Allahabad branch , the draft was in the name of Registrar Vibhagiya  Pariksha payable at Saharanpur branch. The petitioner has made a representation dated 17.5.2006 before the authority concerned which has remained unactioned till date, hence this writ petition.

The only prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the representation of the petitioner dated 17.5.2006 may be directed to be decided by the authority concerned within a time bound period as this Court deems just and proper in the circumstances of the case.

The standing counsel has no objection to this prayer.

In the circumstances, the petition is disposed of finally with a direction to the authority concerned to decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 17.5.2006 by a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of submission of a certified copy of this order.  The petitioner shall file a certified copy of this order before the authority concerned within one week from today.
