It is submitted by the counsel for the petitioner that a suit under Section 229-B of the U.P. Zamindari Abolition & Land Reforms Act has been filed by the petitioner being suit no. 22 of 1998 which is pending before the Assistant Collector, Tehsil Chandpur, District Bijnor since the year 1997 but the defendants are delaying the proceedings.  It is stated that all the parties in the case have been served. The only prayer pressed by the counsel for the petitioner is that the trial court be directed to dispose of the suit expeditiously and within a time bound period. It is also stated that no order of stay of the proceedings is operating.

In the facts and circumstances of the case the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the trial court to dispose of the suit no. 22 of 1998 filed by the petitioner expeditiously and if possible within a period of one year from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before it.
