The petitioner has challenged the  the impugned order dated 29.7.2006 (Annexure no. 9 to the writ petition passed by respondent no. 2 suspending fair price shop licence/agreement of the petitioner.

Heard  the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as  the learned counsel for the contesting respondents.

Admittedly  an appeal lies against the impugned order  before  the Commissioner which, in  our opinion, is an equally efficacious alternative remedy.

The writ petition is dismissed  in limine at this stage on the ground of alternative remedy without entering into the merits of the case.
