This is an application for bail moved on behalf of the applicant Monu indicted in case crime No. 197 of 2006 under sections 3/5/8 Cow Slaughter Act, section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and 429 I.P.C. P.S. Nakur District Saharanpur .
Heard Shri Sudhanshu Srivastava, learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. and have perused the record.
The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that it is a case of transportation of cattle. The learned counsel urged that applicant was driving the truck in which the cattle were loaded.
The learned A.G.A. argued that bullocks were loaded for slaughtering and one of the bullock was died.
I have taken into consideration the submissions advanced on behalf of both the parties.
This being a case of transportation of cattle and the applicant being driver of the truck, I consider it to be a fit case for bail.
Let the applicant Monu indicted in case crime No. 197 of 2006 under sections 3/5/8 Cow Slaughter Act, section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and 429 I.P.C. P.S. Nakur District Saharanpur , be enlarged on bail on furnishing personal bond with two sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the court concerned.
