This is an application for bail moved on behalf of the applicant Vimal Singh indicted in case crime No. 92 of 2006 under sections 3/5/8 of U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act P.S. Khakharedu District Fatehpur .
Heard Shri Purushottam Pandey, learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. and have perused the record.
The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that applicant is the driver of the vehicle no. U.P. 7/D/212 Max Pickup on which animals' skins were being loaded. The learned counsel submitted that co-accused Mohammad Asif, Munnon alias Afak and Mohammad Azad alias Kallu who were loading the skins in the truck have been enlarged on bail.
The learned A.G.A. argued that applicant was arrested at the spot.
I have taken into consideration the submissions advanced on behalf of both the parties.
The applicant is the driver of the truck in which the animals' skins were being loaded .There is no allegation of slaughtering against the applicant. In view of these facts, I consider it to be a fit case for bail.
Let the applicant Vimal Singh indicted in case crime No. 92 of 2006 under sections 3/5/8 of U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act P.S. Khakharedu District Fatehpur , be enlarged on bail on furnishing personal bond with two sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the court concerned.
