1. This is a writ petition against the order dated 10.5.2000 rejecting the representation of the petitioner.
2. We have heard counsel for he petitioner and standing counsel for the respondents.
3. A finding has been recorded in the order that the petitioner was never granted licence and as such there is no question of renewing the same. There is no illegality so far as this part of order is concerned. The authority below has further held that there is ban for granting saw mill licence and there is no policy to grant fresh saw mill licence at present. In view this, the writ petition is dismissed. However, in case the ban is lifted the petitioner may apply for grant of fresh licence.
4. With these observations the writ petition is dismissed.
