Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the report received from the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jhansi.
The Chief Judicial Magistrate concerned has explained in the report the reasons on account of which the case could not be decided within a period of six months as per directions of this Court. He has prayed for extension of some more time to complete the trial of the case.
The prayer of the Chief Judicial Magistrate is allowed. He is directed to complete the trial of this old case no. 3646 of 2000 ( State Vs. Sant Lal Kalra and others) under sections 467, 468, 471 and 420 I.P.C. on priority basis within a period of six months positively from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
The application under section 482 Cr.P.C. is accordingly disposed of .
