This is an application for bail moved on behalf of the applicant Vijay Pal Singh indicted in case crime No.282 of 2004 under sections 13 (1) and 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act 1988 P.S. Medical District Meerut.
Heard Shri Ram Brij Napit , learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. and have perused the record.
The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the expenditure of the applicant is said to have been found disproportionate to the known sources of income. The learned counsel submitted that applicant had income from agricultural land, dairy and his wife was L.I.C. agent.
The learned A.G.A. argued that the expenditure of Rs. 5,09453.30/- was found more than known sources of income of the applicant.
Having taken into consideration the submissions advanced on behalf of both the parties and the allegations made in the First Information Report , I consider it to be a fit case for bail.
Let the applicant Vijay Pal Singh indicted in case crime No.282 of 2004 under sections 13 (1) and 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act 1988 P.S. Medical District Meerut , be enlarged on bail on furnishing personal bond with two sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the court concerned.
