Vikram Singh And Another v. State Of U.P. And Others - CRIMINAL MISC. WRIT PETITION No. 12130 of 2006 RD-AH 17811 (16 October 2006)
Crl. Misc. Writ Petition No. 12130 of 2006
Hon'ble Sushil Harkauli J.
Hon'ble Pankaj Mithal, J.
The only argument addressed from the side of the petitioners is that the husband of the lady is in jail and the petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the injured victim bride. This argument is meaningless. These cases are not decided on formulas. Two incidents are reported in each of which the bride was rescued by the people belonging to the area.
We do not see any good ground either for quashing of the First Information Report or for staying the arrest.
However, if the petitioners surrender and apply for bail in case crime No. 350 of 2006 under sections 504/506/498-A IPC and section ¾ D.P. Act, P.S. Daurala district Meerut, their bail applications will be disposed of by both the Courts below expeditiously.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
