Heard learned Counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A.
It is pointed out by the learned A.G.A. that co-accused Ram Prakash the husband of the deceased and the son of the applicant has not surrendered before the court concerned, but he is still absconding. The applicant is father in-law of the deceased. He is old man aged about 70 years. It is contended by the learned counsel for the applicant that in case the applicant is released on short terms bail he shall make every efforts so that co-accused Ram Prakash may surrender before the court concerned.
Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the applicant the applicant is entitled for short terms bail for a period of 3 months from the date of his released from the jail.
Let the applicant Ram Ratan involved in Case Crime No. 67 of 2006, S.T. No. 749 of 2006,, under Sections 498-A, 304-B and 201 I.P.C. and Section ¾ Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Meherajpur District Kanpur Nagar be released on short terms bail for a period of three months from the date of his release from the jail on his furnishing a personal bond and two sureties each of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Court concerned with the condition that he shall surrender before the court concerned immediately after the expiry of the period of short terms bail and after releasing on short terms bail the applicant shall ensure the appearance of co-accused Ram Prakash before the court concerned.
