The petitioner was given a notice dated 2.12.2005 by respondent no. 1 to show cause as to why his vehicle may not be seized. The petitioner gave reply to the said notice on 28.12.2005 to the respondent no.1. As it has not been decided, the present writ petition has been filed.
We have heard counsel for the petitioner and the Standing Counsel for the respondents.
In the circumstances of the case, the petitioner's reply/representation dated 28.12.2005 made before respondent no. 1 may be decided by the said respondent by a reasoned order at an early date, if possible, within three weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. The petitioner will file copy of his reply/representation, necessary documents and a duly stamped self addressed envelope along with the certified copy of this order. The concerned authority after taking decision will communicate the same to the petitioner.
With these observations the writ petition is disposed of.
