Ajeet Pratap Singh v. State Of U.P. And Others - WRIT - C No. 61791 of 2006 RD-AH 19088 (13 November 2006)
Hon'ble Vineet Saran, J
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents no. 1 and 2 and Sri Sanjay Kumar Singh for respondent no. 2. Considering the nature of the order which is being passed, notices to the respondents no. 3 and 4 are not being issued. In case if the said respondents are so aggrieved, they shall be at liberty to file an application for modification, variation and/or withdrawal of this order.
The grievance of the petitioner is that his candidature for admission in B.Sc. Part I has been ignored by the University although in the admission test he had obtained higher marks than the respondent no. 4 who has been granted admission.
Considering the nature of the dispute involved, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served by calling for a counter affidavit or keeping this writ petition pending. Accordingly, this writ petition is finally disposed of with the direction that in case if, with regard to his grievances made in this writ petition, the petitioner files a comprehensive representation before the Registar, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra alongwith a certified copy of this order, the same shall be considered and decided by the said respondent, in accordance with law, by a speaking order, expeditiously, preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of filing of the same.
With the aforesaid observations/directions, this writ petition is finally disposed of. No order as to costs.
