Hon.Shishir Kumar, J.
We have heard Sri Nripendra Chaturvedi, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
The revision filed by the petitioner under the Stamp Act is pending before the respondent No.2 i.e. The Chief Controller of Revenue Authority, Allahabad. The same has not been decided till date.
We direct the respondent No.2 i.e. Chief Controller of Revenue Authority, Allahabad to decide the revision of the petitioner on merit within a period of two months from the date of filing of the certified copy of the order. It is, however, made clear that the revision of the petitioner be decided without any demand of amount from the petitioner of one third. Till the disposal of the writ petition there will be no recovery against the petitioner.
With these observations the writ petition is disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
