This is an application for bail moved on behalf of the applicant Ashok Kumar Verma involved in case Crime No. 1538 of 2006 under sections 420, 467, 468, 471, I.P.C., Police station Kotwali, district Ghazipur.
Heard Sri Sharad Srivastava, learned counsel for the applicant, learned AGA and have perused the record.
The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the applicant has been enlarged on bail for the offences punishable under section 41/411 I.P.C. The learned counsel submitted that the applicant is the bonafide purchaser without knowledge that the vehicle was stolen property. The learned counsel urged that documents relating to the vehicle were handed over to the applicant by co-accused Manveer Singh. The learned counsel argued that there is no criminal history of the applicant.
The applicant having been enlarged on bail punishable under section 41/411 I.P.C., I consider it to be a fit case for bail.
Let the applicant Ashok Kumar Verma involved in case Crime No. 1538 of 2006 under sections 420, 467, 468, 471, I.P.C., Police station Kotwali, district Ghazipur, be enlarged on bail on furnishing personal bond with two sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the court concerned.
