HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE OF ALLAHABAD

Hon. Dr. B.S. Chauhan, J.

Hon. Dilip Gupta, J.

It appears from the perusal of the Writ Petition that the land of the petitioner had been acquired under the provisions of Land Acquisition Act and thereafter it was transferred to Development Authority. This was done prior to 1992. The relief claimed in the present petition is to quash the relevant entries contained in the Khatauni wherein it has been noted that the possession of the land had been given to the Development Authority.

In the absence of any challenge to the acquisition proceedings, no relief can be granted by this Court. This apart, this petition has been filed in the year 2006 when the acquisition proceedings must have taken place in the year 2002.

Since no relief can be granted to the petitioner in this petition, it is, accordingly, dismissed.
