In present writ petition, petitioner has claimed following reliefs:
"(a) to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the opp. Parties concerned to restore the ran of Head Constable with all other facilities available to H.C. w.e.f. 7.2.87 after two years of order of D.I.C. Dated 7.2.85;
(b) to issue such other writ, order or direction wh9ch this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper to give adequate relief to the petitioner;
(c) to allow this writ petition with costs to the petitioner."
Along with the counter affidavit, letter dated 15.01.1994 has been appended as Annexure C.A.-11. As per the said letter in the light of letters dated 14.12.1993 and 31.12.1993, the rank of CISF No.7009231 Constable B.D. Sharma has been restored to Head Constable with effect from 07.02.1987 and herein it has been further provided that separate order for protection of seniority in the rank of Head Constable/GD would be issued by Zonal Head Quarters, New Delhi.
Consequently, it is writ apparent that relief claimed by means of present writ petition has been allowed to petitioner by respondents themselves vide letter dated 15.01.1994, as such nothing more is required to be done in the present writ petition.
Writ petition is rendered and dismissed as infructuous.
