Heard learned counsel for petitioner and Sri Anuj Kumar, Sri P.D. Tripthi, Advocates, as well as learned Standing Counsel for respondents.
Contention of petitioner is that her claim for the post of Shikshamitra has been ignored, policy formulated for the said purpose has been breached and Smt. Suman Singh has been accommodated in contravention of the policy formulated.
Grievance which is sought to be raised can be very well looked into and examined by the District Magistrate, who happens to be the Chairman of District Selection Committee by virtue of Government Order dated 02.05.2006 and is competent authority to deal with any question which arises in the matter of selection and appointment of Shikshamitra, as such liberty is given to petitioner to represent the matter before the District Magistrate, along with a certified copy of this order within three weeks from today. In the event of any such representation being made, said authority shall proceed to look into the grievance of petitioner and take appropriate decision, in accordance with law, by means of reasoned and speaking order, within next eight weeks, after affording opportunity of hearing to Smt. Suman Singh, and the decision so taken be communicated to petitioner as well as Smt. Suman Singh.
In terms of above observation and direction, writ petition is disposed of.
