PRESENT: Shri Arvind Singh, Advocate for the petitioners.
The petitioners have approached this Court for issuance of directions to the respondents to grant the ex-gratia payment to them on account of death of Ramesh Kumar, husband of petitioner No.1 and father of petitioners No.2 to 5. It has been claimed by the petitioners that the aforesaid Ramesh Kumar had died on account of negligence of the officials of respondent No.3.
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, at the outset, points out that a representation dated February 23, 2005 (Annexure P.1) has been filed by the petitioners but the said representation still remains unresponded.
In this view of the matter, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner, Kaithal, respondent No.2 to take a final decision on the aforesaid representation (Annexure P.1) within a period of four months from the date a certified copy of this order is received, by passing a detailed and speaking order.
A copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
