PRESENT: Shri Puneet Bali, Advocate for the petitioner.
The learned counsel for the petitioner informs the Court that similar matters pertaining to the claim of the oustees are pending consideration before the Chief Administrator, HUDA, respondent No.2. The learned counsel states that the petitioner would be satisfied if a liberty be granted to the petitioner to approach the Chief Administrator so that his claim can also be considered.
In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, we dispose of the present petition with a liberty to the petitioner to file his written submissions/representation before the Chief Administrator, HUDA, respondent No.2 within a period of two weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is received. If any such written submissions/representation is filed by the petitioner before the Chief Administrator, then the Chief Administrator, HUDA,
respondent No.2 is requested to look into the matter and takes such appropriate action, as may be required, in accordance with law.
It will be appreciated if the Chief Administrator also grant a personal hearing to the petitioner or his authorised representative/counsel before any final decision is taken in the matter.
It would also be appreciated if the Chief Administrator takes an appropriate decision, as expeditiously as possible.
A copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
